Sweet Valentine's Flowers.

I often get asked by wedding clients who I prefer for a florist.  And although I haven't yet photographed a wedding with Stapelton Floral Design,  I can't wait for more people to pick up on how incredible their designs are.  It's the small little details that make me smile.  My husband knows me best, and he picked this Valentine's arrangement up for me (as though spending a week in Puerto Rico with him wasn't enough).  I love him.

The Luckiest.

Tori and Leah told me their love story over some appetizers and a few margaritas, just a few weeks before their wedding. Two amazing women, head over heels for one another, best friends who were taking the leap to solidify their union.  Their story....serendipitous. We went on laughing and chatting about life and their wedding day.  I felt closer to them after our get together, but it wasn't until their ceremony that I felt any raw emotion.  I don't typically cry while I'm working, but for some reason I caught myself shedding a few tears while Ben Folds "The Luckiest" played.  Only because I'm a believer that love is found due to a series of fortunate events that inevitably leads two souls together (happened with Bobby and I).  So as I glanced around Leah and Tori's intimate ceremony on New Years Eve., I couldn't help but think that everyone in that moment felt more lucky......lucky to have been a part of that night, to know Tori and Leah, to be amongst wonderful people, and perhaps to have found love themselves.  That beautiful feeling of being "the luckiest" swept over the entire candlelit room, and I couldn't help but feel lucky myself.
