Mateo 5 months.
On the day my brother dropped my nephew off for me to babysit him, I knew I would be challenged to be supermom. You see, Landon and Mateo are the same baby...meaning, they both love to be held (yes, my son is spoiled with lots of hugs and kisses and I enjoy every moment he looks up at me and asks for hugs...sounds like, "hug mommy"...it's pretty great). My brother walked out the door and it took me 15 minutes to put screaming Mateo to sleep, and for a brief moment I thought I had to call Rickey and have him come back. But then Mateo's little angel face fell fast asleep and I felt like I had to take another shower from nervously sweating. After that episode, things were actually pretty easy. Landon became my helper (however, he did demand a few times that I put Mateo in his walker), and Mateo realized that his aunt was pretty cool after all. So during Landon's nap, he put on a little show of adorable little faces for my camera. I love him and I just want to eat him up!!!
This pretty much sums up how they feel about each other.

Payton takes three.
This was Payton's third session with me!!! I love seeing this gal and her mommy. We managed to get a few shots indoors before realizing that Landon's toys were a major distraction around my house. So we braved the chilly weather and finished up the session outdoors. Payton didn't really want to smile for me at first. Perhaps it was because she secretly knew that the dinosaur she borrowed from Landon was really not going home with her. But then she started smiling for a Brockton Enterprise photojournalist who arrived at the park and began pointing his camera at us from a distance. From there Payton's mom and I went into song and dance to "Row, row, row your boat" to get some big smiles. And that my friends, is just another typical adventure in taking portraits of a toddler!
This was the test shot.....and it's a keeper!!!!
All grown up and looking like a kid in school.
Braving the outdoors!!!
The adorable hats and pins are by The Littlest Hat Shop.
Our debut in the Brockton Enterprise.

Katie & Peter
Katie and Peter's destination wedding took place in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Bobby and I stayed for five days and had such a wonderful time getting to know all their family and friends. And what a place to do so!!! Rincon was gorgeous and we missed the laid back island life as soon as we left. Katie and Peter did an amazing job organizing everything and making every single one of their guests feel welcomed. By the end of the trip we definitely felt like extended family. We both can't thank the lovely couple enough for inviting us and having us photograph their wedding.
This is how a groom gets ready in Rincon. Nothing like a quick dip in the ocean!
